Type at least two characters. The ODS site code is the five-character code on your NHS optical contract, and it is printed on your listing here.
What happens next
Once you pick your site, you email us from an address at the practice quoting the ODS site code. A person checks it against the register and, if it matches, sends you a one-time link that opens the editor. The NHS optical files carry no email address, phone number or website for any practice, so there is nothing we could send an automatic link to; rather than weaken the check, we do it by hand. It usually takes one working day.
A claimed listing carries a “Listing kept up to date by the practice” badge and lets you add a description, the services you actually offer, your opening hours, phone, website and booking link.
